Synopsis
How can we considerate the birth and the woman body in our modern society? At the time where technical nature invades the social space, which place do we leave for human being in the giving birth act? The midwives who practice childbirth at home put a new stare at our society. They praise before all, empowerment of parents and nonintervention. In France, where maternity medicalization is health standard, they are accused of unconscious and are penalized on their professional work. Muriel, Jacqueline, Sidonie and Cécile invite us to discover another vision of the childbirth, and the place that the society gives us as midwives.
